The only thing I will most likely change is the nut to compensate for the Bigsby. The pickups: The P-90 Dogears are solid. My first comment is I really don't see Metal players running out to buy the Wildkat just based on aesthetics alone, but I tend to think generalizations are stupid. That actually works very well for me. Interesting to note is the construction process for the Wildkat uses computer routing to carve out sections of the solid body leaving only section for the pick ups. It is import to note that this process gives this semi-hollow body a real distinctive tone. Now, you won't get the same resonance as more expensive arch tops and hollow bodies, but the tone is full and warm.
